I have worked in television as an Offline and Online / Finishing Editor for 19 years. In that time I have gained extensive experience in both short-form: cutting many stylish promos for clients such as Discovery and ESPN; and complex narrative driven long-form content for broadcasters such as the BBC and Sky.

I have a keen eye for story telling. Across various genres, I have crafted previously written briefs and scripts and wrestled with the unwritten; finding stories in 10’s of hours of footage to create engaging content.

I strive to enhance and craft the edit wherever possible. Whether it be through story-telling, cutting to music, effects, or sound design I do my utmost to bring the best out of the footage available.

I first started in an Online and finishing environment and it has enabled me to see an edit from offline through grading and Graphics to online. I have formerly created plugin’s for FCP and have been a beta tester for Apple Studio 2 so I am well versed in the technology and post-production processes that accompany the tools. This level of understanding enables me to work creatively, quickly and efficiently.

I’m a creative Editor who endeavours to exceed the client’s expectations. Even with the most challenging of jobs, I work to get the best possible results. I’m a personable sort who is equally happy working with a Director or Producer as I am in a large team of Editors, or working by myself. I’m enthusiastic about every job and I enjoy what I feel I do best.
